American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid Course includes child CPR & AED, infant CPR, basic first aid, environmental emergencies.
Students receive OSHA approved AMBU pocket mask and mini first aid kit. First Aid training covers common trauma and medical situations: falls, burns, heart attacks, stroke, seizures, diabetes, allergic reactions, asthma attacks, bleeding, choking. For those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care providers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations. |
